The 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse receives a much needed make over, most notably in the front end. The GS model comes with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. (Optional 4-speed automatic available.) It produces 162 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 162 pound-feet of torque at 4000 rpm. The GT boasts a 3.8-liter V6 engine with 265 horsepower at 5750 rpm and 262 pound-feet of torque at 4500 rpm. (Standard 6-speed manual transmission or optional 5-speed automatic available.)
