THE CHEVY VOLT….. ITS ELECTRIC!!! BOOGIE, WOOGIE, WOOGIE!!!

How does driving for 40 miles before your car uses a single drop of gas sound? Sounds like the future to me! The engineers at Chevrolet have been working overtime to ensure that the Volt is the first mass produced re-chargeable car on the market. Powered by a lithium ion battery, the Volt boasts a theoretical 230 mpg! The company estimates the Volt will need 8 kilowatt hours for the recharge required to travel those first 40 miles. Research from the Department of Energy suggests most consumers will end up paying more than that, probably around 88 cents per re-charge. Purchase costs for the first generation Volt will not come cheap either, as stated by Chevrolet's representatives. As the “re-chargeable” technology becomes more efficient consumers can expect prices to drop dramatically. SO!… Keep your eyes pealed for this eco-friendly crusader and do not forget to check out the line up of Chevy wheels offered @ rimsdealer.com
