2010 Audi TTRS

Audi has fitted the TT RS with a new turbo, 2.5-liter, 5-cylinder engine which pumps out a “neck breaking” 340-horspower and a max torque of 331.9 lbs. This TT also utilizes Audi's “Quattro” all-wheel drive system and a six-speed manual gearbox. Audi claims zero to 62 in under 5.0 seconds with a governed top speed of 155 mph. The TT RS also boasts a beefed up brake, suspension and electronic stability control system. The TT RS will be available in both Coupe and Roadster models. Sadly, Audi had opted not to offer the TT RS to the U.S. market for the time being.

!!!!50 MPG HYBRID!!!!

From eco-friendly drivers to cash conscious consumers, the word is out, the future is GREEN! Toyota's Prius, originally released in Japan in 1997, helped make hybrid technology a household topic and with the 2010 models on the way, Toyota will yet again “raise the bar”. With a combined 50 MPG rating the 2010 Prius means business and that's not all. Along with increased fuel economy the 2010 edition has also received a much needed cosmetic make over. The original Prius design , while unique, was not very attractive. The new 2010 model is sportier and more aggressive than ever. The base model begins at $22,000 while the fully loaded models start at $27,270.

Dell Computer Upgrades…WOW!

rimsdealer.com has WOW! The 2008 WOW! Customer Service Initiative is meant to blow your socks off with service and convenience. It will literally make you say, WOW!

To achieve some of these customer service goals many times our wheel and tire experts and customer service agents need to multi-task. This means that they run out of computer processing power and monitor space real fast. So management decided to invest some major bucks and buy new Dell Vostro computers to every single company representative. Each system comes with Dual 20″ Widescreen monitors, Dual Core processors, and 3GB of RAM!!!!

Now when you call a rimsdealer.com sales agent it will be like having your own personal wheel and tire encyclopedia with the computing power to back it up!

rimsdealer.com Operations Director Tom Deitz said it best, “We didn't spend $400,000 on new computer hardware and software programs. It was an investment of $400,000 in our ability to serve our customers.”

New California Warehouse for 2008!

The new rimsdealer.com California warehouse facility will now reduce nationwide order fulfillment from 5-7 business days to 2-3 business days.

This new warehouse will be run by a new Client Relationship Management software solution provided by Netsuite. This $300,000 investment will greatly aid in logistics and customer service by tracking orders at every stage of the fulfillment process and in so doing, replace many manual processes.

Further, a new Warehouse Management System, 7Hills, will allow rims dealer to run inventory cycle counts, give the exact location of any product in any facility nationwide, and generally increase overall production efficiency. 7Hills will result in a reduction of warehouse payroll, fewer return shipments, and an increase in quality control.

What does this mean to the customer? Faster delivery, fewer errors, and more WOW! when you put those wheels or tires on your vehicle.
